you'll have to set it up in slave mode, not just manual mode or it will not fire. I'm assuming that the 530 will behave the same way my 500 super does, here, they may have changed that aspect, but if the situation ever arises and it won't fire, remember that or you'll do like I did and waste loads of time unnecessarily trouble shooting the set up when that's what's wrong;^}

el sigma 500 DG SUPER puede ser disparado como en remoto de dos maneras:
- como esclavo manual (via fotocelula integrada o via disparador radio)
- como esclavo TTL de canon

creo que lo mismo para el 530
